Meanwhile, the highway linking Guadalajara to Puerto Vallarta continues to transform travel in western Mexico. JetBlue has launched daily service connecting New York City’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) with the newly opened Felipe Carrillo Puerto Tulum International Airport (TQO). The Airbus A320 flight departs JFK at 8am, arriving in Tulum at 11:15 am, with a return flight departing at 12:45pm and landing in New York just before 6pm, offering convenient travel options for international guests.
The state of Nayarit is set to enhance regional accessibility with a groundbreaking commercial air route to the Islas Marias Biosphere Reserve. Beginning in October, Cessna Grand Caravan EX aircraft will operate 13-passenger flights from the Riviera Nayarit Airport (TPQ). Departing from Tepic Wednesday through Sunday at 8am, the 45-minute journey to Puerto Balleto on Isla Maria Madre will cost approximately 420 USD per person, inclusive of lodging, meals, and tours.
