Congress on Thursday listed 15 descriptions of PM Narendra Modi under the title “Kaun hain Narendra Modi?” (Who is Narendra Modi?). These descriptions include allegations that the PM misled the public with trivial issues such as mutton, fish, mangalsutra, and buffalo during elections.
Congress has listed 15 reasons explaining ‘Kaun hain Narendra Modi?’ in the eyes of new India:

  1. Attempts to Undermine Democracy: Using agencies like the ED, IT, and CBI to destabilize democratic institutions.
  2. Repression of Farmers: Firing bullets and tear gas shells at farmers and placing nails in their path.
  3. Farmer Deaths: His stubbornness led to the deaths of more than 700 farmers demanding their rights.
  4. COVID-19 Response: Leaving millions to fend for themselves during the coronavirus pandemic.
  5. Failure to Protect Women: Failing to protect the honor of the country’s daughters while shielding rapists.
  6. Manipur Crisis: Allowing Manipur to burn for political gains.
  7. Electoral Bonds Corruption: Running a recovery racket through electoral bonds, collecting billions by threatening people.
  8. Inflation: Increasing inflation, thereby depriving the poor of food.
  9. Unemployment: Selling public sector units to friends, leading to youth unemployment.
  10. Agniveer Scheme: Introducing the Agniveer scheme, dashing the dreams of young people wanting to join the army.
  11. Economic Mismanagement: Ruining small businesses through demonetization and flawed GST implementation.
  12. Support for Controversial Figures: Asking for votes from a stage for a mass rapist like Prajwal Revanna.
  13. China Relations: Appearing fearful of China and giving it a clean chit.
  14. Election Misleading: Misleading the public with trivial issues like mutton, fish, mangalsutra, and buffalo during elections.
  15. Undignified Language: Lowering the dignity of the Prime Minister’s office by using words like ‘Mujra’ in speeches.

The opposition has launched a direct attack on Modi following a surprising performance in the Lok Sabha elections on June 4th. In a strong showing, the INDIA bloc won 232 seats, with Congress winning 99 seats. The INDIA bloc also won a majority of seats in India’s most populous state, the BJP-ruled Uttar Pradesh.

Contrary to exit poll predictions, the BJP only won 240 seats, while the NDA won 293 seats out of the 543 Lok Sabha seats that went to the polls.
