27

Matt Rife is on the mend.

One week after the comedian postponed several sold out shows from his ProbleMATTic World Tour due to an medical emergency, he shared an update on his health.

“First I wanted to say thank you so much for all the well wishes, I’m working on getting better and can’t wait to come back shortly and give you the best possible shows that you deserve,” Matt wrote on Instagram June 5. “Having to reschedule shows broke my f–kin heart and I hate it, but I deeply appreciate your understanding and wanted to update you on those.”

As part of the rescheduling, the 28-year-old announced that his four Chicago dates had been moved to December 26, 27, 29 and 30. Meanwhile, his Nashville shows will take place in August after moving to a new venue due to scheduling conflicts.

Matt—who was supposed to perform at the Indiana University Auditorium May 29 after postponing the show back in February—canceled the show that day of the event and apologized for the decision.
