Originally from Hawai’i and currently based in Alaska, Johnson has an extensive background in community development and the luxury travel industry, infusing the role with a passion for culturally immersive storytelling and critical global insight.
She spent her formative years working alongside at-risk communities and partnering with local organizations to support skill-building and community-driven initiatives—both on U.S. Native reservations and internationally in Taiwan, Cambodia, and Germany. A lifelong love for art and storytelling naturally led her into marketing where she honed her craft, leveraging data to guide messaging across luxury travel, e-commerce, and service industries—ensuring each narrative resonates with its intended audience. Johnson’s belief that “travel is one of the most powerful ways to expand perspectives and build connections across cultures” inspired her to join the travel industry. She brings nearly a decade of experience with Four Seasons, where she helped craft authentic experiences that connected guests to a place while also telling the stories behind them.
Having spent most of her life in Hawai’i, she understands that truly knowing somewhere takes much more than just a visit. An avid hiker, her favorite trips are those where she fully immerses herself in the place, the culture, and deep nature. “Breathtaking landscapes, hiking, camping, and cultural experiences usually are what draw me to destinations, but I often find myself most nostalgic for the quieter, everyday moments—when a cafe owner or baker recognizes me as a regular, one small sign that I’ve truly connected.”
