A Swiss billionaire is commissioning the construction of the world’s longest gigayacht which is named as Ulyssia and which will surpass the Titanic in size at an impressive 1,050 feet, reported The US Sun.

According to The US Sun, this luxury vessel is designed to accommodate 133 apartments which will be including 10 penthouses and 22 guest suites with living spaces ranging from 1,184 to over 10,258 square feet. At the same time, each apartment will be featuring some high-end amenities akin to a five-star hotel while including open-plan kitchens and large windows for stunning views.

Ulyssia eventually aims to offer a unique lifestyle experience which is being described as ‘a life without boundaries’ with facilities such as multiple restaurants, swimming pools, a theater and even two helicopters for transportation, asserted The US Sun. The yacht will also focus on sustainability while utilizing hybrid power systems and eco-friendly technologies to minimize its environmental impact.

The project is spearheaded by Frank Binder, who was actually inspired by the concept of residential yachts like ‘The World’, noted The US Sun. Construction is all set to begin in May of the year 2025 with delivery expected in the first half of year 2029.

The prices for residences will start at approximately £10 million for one-bedroom apartments and reach £49 million for penthouses while this ambitious venture reflects a new era in luxury living at sea.
